Little did I know what Ryan had up his sleeves.
He told me earlier in the week that he made dinner reservations at a nice restaurant in Richmond called Acacia. I was also told that we couldn't go to my Aunt's cookout on Saturday, but Ryan wouldn't tell me why. I figured something was up his sleeves.
Friday night we head to dinner and I'm expecting just us. Once we got there, I heard the hostess say "party of 8" and grabbed more than just 2 menus. It took a little while to hit me, but I soon realized there was a table waiting to surprise me....I, of course, cried because I've never been surprised (dinner, party, etc) in my 30 years of living. Lauren, Nikki, Jared, Cindykins, Laura, and Bryce were all there with flowers, balloons, and gifts/cards. I've never been so shocked/felt so loved!
We had an awesome dinner and going home, Ryan told me were leaving at 8 in the morning for Annapolis,MD to meet Kristin and Mikey for a sailing trip! The weather couldn't of been any prettier and we had soooo much fun! We had to leave around 3 to get back home to take care of the dogs, but I seriously couldn't of asked for a better birthday.
If this weekend was any indication of how my 30's will be, then I'm ready for it!
